Bringing the straw hat back

Decided to take the straw hat out since it's been a while since I last wore it. I was going for a simple and comfortable summer outfit and the hat definitely completes the look. I am actually wearing a top but it's so long that it almost looks like a short dress on me.

The abandoned house

My girlfriend kept talking about that abandoned house and how it would be a nice setting to take pics for my blog. So yesterday asked the boy to bring me there. My girlfriend was absolutely right. The house is such a great location for a photo shoot. The only downside is that we walked into a mosquito trap lol.

The skirt dress

The boy snapped these pics a few days ago and must say his photography skills are getting better and better. Not easy to photograph someone as short as me lol... so thumbs up to him! Wore this maxi skirt as a dress and cinched it with my favourite vintage belt for some waist definition.

Maybe leopard print is not the trend anymore but I'm still in love with it. Got this skirt a while ago but never got the occasion to wear it. Must say the weather here is just perfect for mini skirts! :)

Statement necklace

Quickly updating my blog to share my outfit from a few days ago. Wore my new statement necklace for the occasion as well as that gorgeous maxi that I bought just before leaving UK.

A short walk outside

Went for a short walk outside the boy's place and grabbed the opportunity to ask him to snap a few pics. Didn't stay for very long because of the super duper hot weather... honestly it feels like a sauna outside!!! Anyway need to get ready to meet friends for dinner. Will try snap pics of tonite's outfit coz I really wanna show you girls that gorgeous necklace I just bought :)

Missguided styling competition

Was happily surprised to be selected among 20 bloggers to participate in the Missguided styling competition. The challenge consists of creating an outfit that I would wear to a social event that I would be attending this summer and I decided to go for the Garden Party theme.

The Outfit:

The Jewellery:

- Kate Royal Blue Sapphire Ring in Silver

- Portia Gypsy Coin Earrings in Silver

I've picked this outfit because this tiered dress is so romantic and reminds me of flower petals. The box bag in cheetah print definitely adds an edge to the outfit. The platform wedges are a definite must for some extra inches. And of course cannot attend a garden party without a floppy hat! I've chosen silver for the jewellery just to add a touch of glamour and the blue sapphire of the ring for a pop out effect.

Rocking burnt orange

I absolutely adore the colour of this blouse. Its thin see-through fabric is just perfect for the hot KL weather and no surprise I've been living in it for the past two days :P 

Yesterday bought some cool jewellery from the market place nearby. Can't believe how everything is so much cheaper compared to UK. Will post my new purchases later... so stay tuned!

Hello from KL

A quick outfit post update from Kuala Lumpur. Will be staying here for about a week before heading back to the boy's home town. So far I am enjoying my stay here although I'm still not used to the super hot weather. Anyway gonna take a quick nap before dinner. I'm still slightly jet lagged although it's been a week since I arrived.

Happy Birthday to me

Celebrated my 26th birthday in Malaysia with the boy and family. Was kinda spoiled with yummy home cooked dinner and cake plus had a relaxing body massage :)

Some pictures from my trip to Singapore. Had a wonderful weekend catching up with my girlfriends, haven't seen them for almost 2 years and really missed all of them!!!
