Lace shorts

The trend might be over but I'm still head over heels in love with lace shorts. So I couldn't resist buying this one when I saw it hanging on the racks in one of the random shops in Platinum mall in Bangkok. They came in three colours: brown, pink and blue. I thought a neutral brown one would be the most versatile and easier to wear.

All about the accessories

This gorgeous cut out necklace arrived in the mail a few days ago from Autumn Ripple. Needless to say, I wore it the very next day to go work. Since the necklace itself is such a statement piece and obviously deserves all the attention it can get, thought I'd wear it with an 'all white' outfit. I matched the rest of my jewellery with the bright colours of the necklace.

Happy Family

My parents flew in last Saturday from Mauritius and it's their first time meeting the in-laws. One big happy family :) Hubby and I have been busy entertaining my parents. They love Malaysian food. So far, one of their favourites is "nasi lemak" at Madam Kwan. We also brought them for the famous herbal pork soup "bak kut teh" and mum found it very tasty! We still have to bring them for "ikan bakar" (grilled fish with banana leaves) and satay with the peanut dip. Mum has been complaining that she's been putting on weight during the last 4 days she's been with us hahaha :) Anyway just a few pics of one of my recent outfits! Going for dinner very soon...more food...sigh!

Metal Tip Collar

I don't know whether I was more attracted to the unusual print of this blouse or to the metal tip collar! This is one of my many purchases from my trip to Bangkok. If you love following the latest trends, Bangkok is definitely the place to shop. We found many pieces inspired from the runway. Mary Katrantzou, Givenchy, DVF...name it and you'll see inspired prints all over the shops at Platinum Mall! The best part is that the prices are very very affordable. So for shopaholics like me... it was heaven!

Neon Yellow

Just got back from a short escape to Bangkok! Hard to be back to work... sigh :( Sis and I did loads of shopping and can't wait to show you guys my new purchases! We bought loads of printed tops and bottoms... and went a bit crazy on neon necklaces. Oh and the thai massages were heaven-like and so cheap- a MUST-DO if ever you visit Thailand!

Anyway these pics were taken a while back. I always wanted a pair of neon jeans and finally got these neon yellow ones from Zara. They're extremely comfy as they're made of a stretchy cotton fabric. Love the zip details at the ankle too!
