Neon Accessories

Today's outfit is all about the neon accessories. I absolutely love this statement necklace and I get many compliments whenever I wear it :) I'm also sporting this cute thin neon spike headband that kinda matches the necklace. Both items were scored from my favourite online boutique, Autumn Ripple. Since the necklace had a bit of neon orange, I naturally picked my all time favourite orange shorts. To tone down the whole look, I paired everything with this relaxed comfy black tunic, that I got from thepoplook.com. I decided to style the latter by tucking only the front half into my shorts and leave the back loose. To pull the whole outfit together, I added the cheetah print belt :) What do you think of this look?

Happy Holidays

Woohoo it's long weekend here in Malaysia. I'm off work until Tuesday. The whole country is celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I want to seize this opportunity to wish all my muslim readers a 'Selamat Hari Raya'. Hope you all have a joyful celebration with friends and family. 

Anyone has been browsing ASOS sales lately? They're having an up 50% off sale and I'm going nuts hahaha :) The bad thing about being at home enjoying the long weekend within reach of a laptop plus internet is that I've been browsing ASOS the whole day long. I've been adding a zillion of great bargains to my cart. After viewing each and every item over and over again, I finally trimmed down my shopping to these 5 items below. I can't wait for my new purchases to reach!!! Peplum Love

I bought this lovely peplum top from Asos and just received it last week. I'm loving the peplum shape since it gives the illusion of an hour glass shape- small waistline and nice hips. I personally think peplum tops really compliment straight body shape figure, like myself. I tried to get the same top in cream/black colour but my size ran out of stock :( I'm also wearing this cool 'tribal' style necklace that I got from Autumn Ripple. Live Show on Bella NTV7

I couldn't wait to share this: Hubby and I were live on Bella NTV7 for a short segment on kids' fashion. Some of you are probably wondering why kids' fashion? Well, we both run a small online store selling kids' clothing: www.bbluvsme.com. We were extremely nervous but all went well, amen! Our beautiful host, Elaine Daly, really made us feel at home on set and the crew was really helpful.

Secretly we're both glad it's over since we've been slightly stressing about it for the past week. It really isn't easy to be live on TV and to be honest, it's quite nerve racking- no room for mistakes since it was a live show! But it will remain a truly amazing experience for the both of us. Such opportunities don't come very often and we're very glad to have been invited by Bella NTV7.

Oh and you guys finally get to meet my hubby ;) Hope you all had a great weekend! Dreading to go to work tomorrow... if only weekends could be longer and weekdays shorter!

Spike bracelet

The title reveals what this post is all about. I received this funky spike bracelet in the mail this morning from Autumn Ripple. I'm totally digging it! Thank you so much Autumn Ripple :) I can easily foresee myself wearing this bracelet on a daily basis. It really goes well with anything and will add a funky touch to any outfit. I love Autumn Ripple's range of accessories and the best part is that the prices are really affordable. Outfit-wise, I woke up this morning, browsed my closet and decided to go for lace and neon to go to work! Dress boringly or take a risk with fashion right? Flatforms

Wow just watched an epic badminton match! So sad that the Malaysian player lost... it would have been our first Olympic gold medal ever :( But he did his best, he really played an amazing game... so hats off to him!!! 

Anyway I got these gorgeous flatforms from my favourite online website Asos! They're sky high but yet very comfy and I love the electric blue colour. I'm also again wearing this beautiful statement necklace from  Autumn Ripple.
